Dairy
Dairy consumption is a very important part of a healthy diet, especially for women! Skim milk, low-fat/fat-free cheese and yogurt are high in calcium which is essential to bone growth and dental health. Calcium consumption can help prevent osteoporosis. 2-3 servings of dairy are recommended daily. As an added bonus, low fat yogurt and cottage cheese are also great sources of protein as well as calcium. They're double delicious and double good for you!
